Privacy policy

Last updated: 25 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data we collect on becomingyou.now, why, and what rights you have. We collect as little as we can and never sell your data.

Who is responsible

Stockholm Malmö Relations AB (company registration number 559284-7320), Surbrunnsgatan 10, 114 27 Stockholm, Sweden, is the controller of your personal data. Contact us at hello@becomingyou.now.

What we collect and why

  • When you buy the course: your name, email address, country, VAT number (if you enter one), what you paid, in which currency and with which payment method, and the time you agreed to the right-of-withdrawal terms. We need this to give you access, send receipts and keep our accounts. Legal basis: performance of a contract, and our legal obligation to keep accounting records. Your card or bank details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them.
  • When you take the course: which lessons you have completed, where you paused a video, when you were last active and when you opened your first lesson. This lets you continue where you left off, unlocks your 1:1 booking, and lets us send you a reminder if you haven’t been active for a while. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • When you log in: we send one-time login links by email. If you choose to log in with Google, Google tells us your email address so that we can match it to your account. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
  • Your 1:1 session: you book a time through Cal.com, and the session is held and recorded in Riverside. We share the recording with you so that you have it on record, and Mira uses it to improve the course. We will only use clips from your session in our marketing if you give your separate, explicit consent, which we ask for when it’s relevant and which you can withdraw at any time. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in improving the course; consent for marketing use.
  • Course evaluation: your answers, and your quote, name and title if you let us use them as a testimonial. We only publish a testimonial if you have said yes, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. Legal basis: consent (for publication) and our legitimate interest in improving the course.
  • Emails from us: course emails such as your welcome email, login links, the invitation to book your 1:1 and reminders. These are part of the service, not marketing.

Services we use

We share personal data with these providers only as far as they need it to do their job for us:

  • Stripe handles payments and receipts. If you pay with Klarna, Klarna also processes your data, under its own privacy notice.
  • Oderland (Sweden) hosts the website and its database.
  • Bunny.net (EU) streams the course videos. Your IP address is processed when a video plays.
  • Google provides our email (Google Workspace) and the optional Google login.
  • Cal.com is used to book your 1:1 session.
  • Riverside is used to hold and record the 1:1 sessions.
  • OpenAI runs ChatGPT, where Brandy lives. When you use Brandy, you do so with your own ChatGPT account and under OpenAI’s terms; we don’t see your conversations.
  • YouTube plays the videos on our free resources pages. A video is only loaded from YouTube after you click play.

Some of these providers are based in, or use subcontractors in, the United States. In those cases data is transferred under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU’s standard contractual clauses.

Cookies

We only use cookies that are needed for the site to work: one that keeps you logged in, and the ones Stripe uses in the checkout to prevent fraud. We don’t use analytics or advertising cookies.

How long we keep your data

  • Your account and course progress: for as long as you have access to the course, or until you ask us to delete them.
  • Purchase records: seven years after the end of the year of purchase, as required by Swedish accounting law.
  • Login links: they stop working after 15 minutes (3 days for the link in your welcome email).
  • Recordings of your 1:1 session: until you ask us to delete them.
  • Evaluations and testimonials: until you ask us to remove them.

Your rights

You have the right to know what data we have about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to get a copy of it. You can withdraw any consent you have given at any time. Email hello@becomingyou.now and we will reply within a month. Deleting your account ends your access to the course. We keep purchase records for as long as the law requires.

If you think we handle your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten, imy.se) or the data protection authority where you live.
